Proservability Inc. (“Proservability,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our public websites and related online properties (collectively, the “Site”), including:
- proservability.com and www.proservability.com
- staging.proservability.com and other preview or staging hosts we use before launch
- studio.proservability.com when used as a password-protected preview of the marketing Site
This policy does not apply to authenticated internal tools, customer engagements, or third-party services that link to their own privacy policies.
If you have questions, contact us at hello@proservability.com. Your use of the Site is also governed by our Terms of Service.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide to us
The public Site is mostly informational. We do not operate account registration, checkout, or lead-capture forms on the marketing or teaser pages.
You may choose to contact us by email (for example, through mailto links for audits, waitlist interest, or general inquiries). When you email us, we receive whatever information you include in your message—typically your email address, name, company, and the content of your communication.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our hosting and content-delivery infrastructure may automatically log technical data such as:
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Browser type, operating system, and device characteristics
- Pages viewed, referring/exit URLs, and timestamps
- HTTP status codes and basic diagnostic data
We use this information to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site—not to build advertising profiles.
Local storage on preview hosts
On studio.proservability.com (and when previewing with an equivalent gate locally), a client-side preview login may store an unlock flag in your browser’s session storage so you are not prompted again during the same browsing session. Preview credentials are checked in your browser; they are not transmitted to Proservability servers for authentication. Session storage is cleared when you close the browser tab or window (subject to your browser’s behavior).
We do not currently use analytics cookies, advertising pixels, or similar tracking technologies on the public marketing or teaser Site.
2. How we use information
We use information we collect to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
- Respond to inquiries you send us by email
- Monitor security, prevent abuse, and debug technical issues
- Comply with applicable law and enforce our terms
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the public Site to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
3. How we share information
We share information only as described below:
| Recipient | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Service providers | Hosting, infrastructure, and content delivery (for example, Google Firebase Hosting) |
| Sanity.io | Content management and delivery of blog images and structured content |
| Google Fonts | Typography served from Google’s font network when you load Site pages |
| Only if you choose to follow a “Share on LinkedIn” link; LinkedIn’s policy applies once you leave our Site | |
| Legal and safety | When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security |
We may also share information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality obligations.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
The public Site is designed to minimize non-essential cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary technical cookies or similar identifiers needed to deliver pages securely and reliably.
If we introduce analytics, marketing, or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, provide appropriate notice or consent mechanisms before they are used.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect Site functionality.
5. Data retention
We retain server logs for a limited period consistent with security and operations, then delete or aggregate them. Email correspondence is kept as long as needed to respond, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data we process. No website or Internet transmission is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The preview gate on studio.proservability.com is a convenience control for pre-release content, not a substitute for enterprise-grade access management. Do not rely on it to protect highly sensitive information.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete certain information, subject to legal exceptions
- Opt out of certain processing (including, where applicable, “sale” or “sharing” as defined by U.S. state privacy laws—we do not sell personal information)
- Portability of information you provided to us
- Non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights
To make a request, email hello@proservability.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before responding. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law.
California residents: You may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising through the public Site.
EEA/UK/Swiss residents: Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or equivalent law applies, our lawful bases typically include legitimate interests (operating and securing the Site), contract (responding to your requests), and consent where required. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
8. International transfers
We are based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your jurisdiction.
9. Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites (for example, LinkedIn or partner resources). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information to them.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may also be highlighted on the Site. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
